Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT): A type of psychotherapy in which harmful patterns of thought about the self and the world are challenged in order to alter unwanted behavior patterns or treat mood disorders such as depression.

Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy is an integrative psychotherapy approach that has been extensively researched and proven effective for the treatment of trauma. EMDR is a set of standardized protocols that incorporates elements from many different treatment approaches.

Motivational Interviewing (MI): Is a method that works on facilitating and engaging internal motivation within the client in order to change behavior. MI is a goal-oriented, client-centered counseling style for increasing behavior change by helping clients to explore and resolve ambivalence.

Person Centered Therapy (PCT): The goal of PCT is to provide clients with an opportunity to develop a sense of self where they can realize how their attitudes, feelings, and behavior are being negatively affected.

Video Therapy: If a client is interested in video therapy, we offer HIPAA compliant distance therapy.
 
Each therapy style is selected to produce the significant positive change in a client's situation. All therapy is individualized to suite the needs of the client.
